Technomaly
Technomaly is a tech forum which me and a few like minded tech freaks have created, where we have our pseudo-intellectual discussions on all things tech (mostly). What you’ll find below is the latest stuff that is being discussed there.

- Re: Re: [geeks@technomaly] Pras, so tell us about the Samsung Wave..Dude, I played with the Wave for like 20 mins and was mighty impressed. On the lines of what I said a phone should do, it does it all. Plus, this is like a mini computer. Does the job, fits the budget. Did not want to spend 28K on the Galaxy, makes no sense. I take my words back about not using a touchscreen phone. This is like mind blowingly awesome.

- Pras, so tell us about the Samsung Wave..Why go for a homegrown OS? Wasn't Android supposed to be the upgrade to Nokia? Is this just one more of those testing phones you keep getting your hands on? Do you find it as good as the Nexus One? p.s. And that subject line reads so much like a spam message its not even funny :P
- Re: [geeks@technomaly] How to find my stolen Dell XPS M1330Sent the FIR copy to Dell today, they have said they will work with the authorities to try and trace the laptop down. My other chances of catching the guys is because they've taken a cell phone as well and the cops guarantee that with the IMEI if the cellphone ever gets used they'll nab them. Also, can someone please buy and ship this to me - they took my USB
- Re: [geeks@technomaly] Pictures: Kindle and iPad Screens Under MicroscopeWas personally blown away by the use of the iPad for reading digital comic books. The best experience I've had.. really feels like reading a paperback comic book :)
- Re: [geeks@technomaly] Pictures: Kindle and iPad Screens Under Microscopewell the difference defintely comes in picture if u consider avid readers..ipad is definitely more tiring to naked eye for prolonged reading given how kindle matches up to raw paper..but then again , ipad does do a lot of other stuff along with being a reader
- Re: [geeks@technomaly] Pictures: Kindle and iPad Screens Under MicroscopeWell.. To be honest, its just different technologies- nothing wrong - both having enough resolution for the naked eye. Both have their merits/demerits - one being screen refresh rates on one end, battery life on the other.
- Re: [geeks@technomaly] Pictures: Kindle and iPad Screens Under Microscopeand thats why $400 gay-pad any day :) ..unless someone defines some other use for it :P
