Version 2.0 and the likes..

Here’s presenting the latest version of my blog. No, I’ve not designed this theme even one bit, and I’m not worth even one pence worth the guy who made this theme. I think I’m good at customising themes to my requirements, and thats exactly what I’ve done here. A small note, this site should display as exactly intended on Windows Vista, considering the primary font I’ve set is Segoe UI. There might be a few loose ends though, and I’m ironing them out as and when I find the time. Please drop in your comments, since I intend settling down using this theme for a long time to me.

PS :- Indian Sweetheart from New Jersey, happy with the theme? :-)

As an aside, Intenet access to my blog from work has been partially restored, so frequent posts to come…

Dressed - again.

As posted earlier, I’ve been obsessed with the colour black. It was natural that I would switch to a black based theme, sooner rather than later. So, here it is.

PS:- Some rough edges, bear with me.

Raw Thoughts.

I know its been a long time since I last posted. Its not that life has been entirely uneventful. People who’ve been around me for the past couple of months will know how ‘happening’ life has been. There has been a thoroughly enjoyable trip to Pune, which I mentioned in my previous posts, but life after that has been pretty monotonous, generally speaking. (more…)

Dormant.

In hibernation. Self induced slowdown.

One Year on..

Tuesday, September 11th, 2007

A very busy weekend, away from work, a mini vacation. All in all, very satisfying. Returned to work today, which co-incidentally happens to be the day I complete a year at Reliance Communications. As I look back over the past year, I realise its not been a bad job done.

Practically applying the knowledge I gained was no mean task. I always was a computer geek. Reliance gave me the perfect window to showcase my talent, which I presume I’ve done very well. I’ve screwed up too, but I’ve learnt to get up, dust myself, and move ahead. I’ve learnt to control my temper better, I’ve learnt pressure handling even better than before. I’ve also met someone, who is now such a close friend, that I think we should have ideally met many years ago, and that person has been responsible,  for the change of phase in my life. I’ve apparently never ever looked this happy, or so I’ve been told. Additionally, I’ve managed to somewhat fulfil my gadget thirst, though I’ve diversified into other bare necessities too.

Most importantly, I’ve vindicated my stand about returning to India after a masters in the UK. The exposure has been brilliant, and I’m looking forward to learning even more.

A new era begins for me today. Let us see what it holds.

Look Ma! There’s Ajax on my Blog.

May 22nd 2006 - I had to forcibly take the upsetting decision to get rid of my Maruti Esteem, considering it had drowned a year ago in the infamous 26th July floods.

April 21st 2007 - I drive out of the Showroom, driving a Maruti Swift, which in many ways, has been on my most wanted list for a while now. The car is a beauty, the handling is awesome, the top speed, er, not yet.. :)

RIP - IBM Thinkpad R50

Wednesday, January 24th, 2007

Once upon a time, in August 2004, I bought an IBM Thinkpad. It was a state of the art machine then, 802.11b and all.

Time passed, and two and a half years later, it shall leave my brother’s hands, to whom it was given to, for it has now been exchanged for a ’state of the art’ Lenovo laptop, which shall again be used by brother dearest (more…)

Aaaaaaaand…… I’m back!

Monday, January 8th, 2007

Hello blog! I’ve returned, for good I hope. Been busy, really busy. Home has been more of a guest house. Seldom have I been home longer than 10 hours at a stretch, including sleep. With things falling into place, and a sensible enough way to blog from work, updates should be more frequent.

Some constructive activity.

Font modified. Sidebars optimised. Missing PHP in theme grafted from other themes. HTML code optimised. Unnecessary garbage removed. RSS Feed to Google and WinInfo Supersite on the right sidebar. I think this blog now looks professional, and rightly so, it must. A new chapter has begun.
