Well, this is a long pending review of the Nokia N95, which I bought during Diwali. Things happened, I got busy with work, there was a MAJOR firmware upgrade and stuff. Now that the dust has settled down, I think its high time I devote some time and pen down MY review, for the benefit of Supremus and perhaps, others too.
Prasanna Sambasivan is a proud owner of a brand Nokia N95, and is in love with it. Review soon, comparing it with my other gadget, the Nokia N80.
There was a time, when I was hyperly obsessed with laptops. Maybe, during the course of my masters, there was a need to carry one around, considering the humongous amount of coursework and projects that I was doing. It was pretty commonplace for me in the UK, to fire up my Thinkpad in the train, and sit ‘working’ on it. Of course, email checking and chatting did happen simultaneously. I loved my Thinkpad, and it almost became a part of me.

9 years ago, at about this time of the year, I had my first computer. A shiny new Penitum1 200Mhz with MMX Technology. It had 16mb of RAM and a 2GB hard disk. It had a modem that alowed me to connect to the internet at 33.6kbps. It ran a fast Windows 95 operating system. With the speakers, printer et all, it occupied more than a huge chunk of my study table. (more…)
Randomly browsing through the internet, I came across this. Sheer nostalgia, happened to be by first phone, and I absolutely loved it, until I switched over to a Nokia 5110. Take a plain vanilla mobile phone. Add a full fledged digital camera to it. Add a Good mp3 player. Add a FM radio receiver. Add Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11g, Infrared. And if that does not make you happy, add the ability to detect as an external hard disk. If still unsatisfied, allow it to detect it as a music player in Windows media Player. And yeah, also add the ability to play streamed music from your computer and use the phone as a remote control over Wi-fi. (more…)
