Not that I had a lot of people commenting anyway, but none the less!
Being super organized is something I’m obsessed with. Part of it involves ensuring I remember each one of my friend’s birthdays. Its a different question that I never ever wish people on time though.
Coming to the point, came across this really interesting application called FbCal, whose purpose is simple. Pick out all the birthdays from friends on your Facebook profile, and make an .ical file out of it. What you could do isĀ import the .ical file into Google Calendar, and you have the birthdays of everyone in your facebook profile, right on your Google Calendar. Additionally, Google Calendar allows you to set notifications via email and SMS, so then you’d have no excuse to forget someone’s birthday!
Very nifty, and a zillion times better than the crappy app invitations I keep getting on Facebook!

Facebooked?
I started off on Facebook as an alternative to Orkut, pretty impressed by its privacy settings. It was a slick web application, more so because it let you add applications of your own, and hence came along SuperPoke, Superlatives, SuperWall, Characteristics and what not.
