Finally watched the movie yesterday. Must say its worth a watch for sure, though I’m a good four years older than what I should be to actually appreciate the movie completely. It’s a totally feel good, stress relieving movie that sure does make you feel chirpy. Its not that there are downsides to the movie either (can someone PLEASE explain to me where on earth are such beautiful houses near CST, or, why must they drive along Marine Drive always, no matter where they are going), but I can see why college students are simply in love with this movie (People all over gushing “Imran Khan is soooooooooooooooooooo cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute”). Needless to say, the music is top notch, though nothing close to Rahman’s best.

Besides, an uncanny resemblance, character, attitude and mannerism wise to someone I know very well made the experience absolutely worth it.

Thumbs up, though its not worth a DVD or a 2.5GB DivX download.

Today’s newspaper. Dhirubhai Ambani’s death anniversary. Check the newspaper cutting in the video, to how the famous spat between the brothers is in public. I will not say anything further, lest I lose my job..

Passers-by stood around the badly mangled remains, in stunned silence, while the policeman pulled out a mobile phone stained in blood, from next to what used to be the LCD display of the car stereo stuck at the track that was probably playing when the crash occurred, while the driver lay motionless, with blood pouring from his head that had banged against the windshield. Read it all..

My Internet Connection at home stopped working out of the blue on Thursday. Got some basic troubleshooting going, pinging the gateway et al, and finally figured it was a remote issue with Tata Indicom, since I could not even ping the Gateway.

A dozen irritating calls to Tech Support followed, with assurances that my service would be up soon. Friday passed, and so did Saturday. No response. Finally today morning, I had an engineer ringing my doorbell for some ‘troubleshooting’. The guy has one look at my wireless router, plugs out the power cable, plugs it back in, and voila!

Turns out my router had hung, and me, with all my ‘Masters in networking’ did not manage to figure something so trivial. Nice reminder, that…

Yeah, I know I’ve not been blogging for a while. Been busy with blah, and hardly ever..blah blah blah! Getting back to the point, check out this article, which shook me right out of my work routine, and had me in splits for a while!’

I mean, seriously..WTF?

And hence, i can now photoblog from anywhere i want.:-)
