I’ve been fascinated by computers and technology, ever since that fateful 1998 morning when I got my ’shiny new’ Pentium 1 – 200Mhz PC, with 16MB of RAM. One thing led to another, and now I’m professionally in the high tech industry. My interest in computers spans almost the entire spectrum, except coding. I’ve developed this bias and aversion to coding, and I really cannot imagine myself sitting in front of a screen coding away blissfully. I’ve always loved implementation and integration of technology, and making it easier to use. This blog is the biggest example of that very sentiment. I’ve not coded one single word on it (the credits below specify the actual authors), I’ve taken bits and pieces from all over the internet and created what this blog is right now.

On the same lines, Computer Networks have been my area of academic and professional interest, and I hold a Masters Degree in Distributed Systems and Networks from the University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, United Kingdom.I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering from the Mumbai University. Somewhere during that time, I develped a keen interest in Network Security.

I currently work with Securview Systems Ltd, as a Network Security Analyst and the role seems to be very promising.

I formerly worked in the Information Security division of Reliance Communications, a pan-India telecom operator headquartered in Navi Mumbai, India and the experience was more of a boon than a bane.

Oh, and for those of you who are really interested in what I’m doing currently, here’s my LinkedIn profile.
