I never thought I’d ever think along these lines. But, now I’ve gradually realised, these are the truths of life, no matter how bitter they are. And to a ‘certain’ sweetheart who’s very concerned about the topics I’m posting, all is well!
1. Never show concern, no matter how true it is. More often than not, it blows up in your face.
2. Everyone is selfish. Its just that some people are less selfish than the others. The concept of the unselfish man (or woman), is non existent.
3. Always appear less intelligent than you really are. Adapt yourself to the perceived intelligence level of the people you are with at that point in time.
4. People closest to you are the only ones who can genuinely hurt you. The effects of words and actions of everyone else are superficial and ephemeral. Beyond a point in time, their words really do not matter. Hurt from people close to you, comes back to haunt you. Only, different people react differently to it.
5. The definition of an ‘opinion’ is very hazy. For most people, an opinion is something that they did, and hence it is the right thing to do, and you must to it too.
6. Periodically, make people realise your absence. Only then, your true worth in that persons life can be ascertained.
7. Never be predictable. React radically differently to the same situation if confronted more than once. That way, you keep people guessing whats your next move.
8. Always think whether what you’re speaking is of any significance to the person being spoken to. You’ll end up being made fun of.

Only too true.
“Periodically, make people realize your absence. Only then, your true worth in that persons life can be ascertained”
If such people are really that important to you and you to them, you really wouldn’t need to resort to such maneuvers, would you?
true…. absolutely true!
So absolutely true!! Well said my man - some gems here hehe
Even important people need to know that they could become ordinary anytime, to quote Ajay Devgan from Company
