I’m completely obsessed with syncing stuff to my PC. Pics taken through the phone, Music tracks, Videos, contacts, the general phone backup, everything. So much so, I have a weekly calendar entry on the phone reminding me to sync my phone to the PC. Tried many solutions, but now I’ve finally zeroed in to Windows Media Player 11 for Music, and Picasa/ Windows Photo Gallery for photos, and obviously, Nokia N Series PC Suite for the phone backup. That, IMO is one of Nokia’s killer features. You can restore your phone in case of a software crash, just by clicking a button. Or, still better, upgrade to a new phone and have your old phone back, with all it settings and blah.

I could go on and on about why one should should sync regularly, but then I do not wanna preach.

I’m working on the big daddy of all sync projects, when I get adequate spare time. What? Syncing Google/ Windows contacts with my phone contacts, and letting it stay that way, so I have an exact replica on the PC, as well as online. Everything, birthdates, phone numbers, etc etc. The issue is, by the time I complete it, people would have moved, addresses would have changed, and god knows what else.

Tripe, technical tripe, thats what this was. No one wants to read this!
