Take a plain vanilla mobile phone. Add a full fledged digital camera to it. Add a Good mp3 player. Add a FM radio receiver. Add Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11g, Infrared. And if that does not make you happy, add the ability to detect as an external hard disk. If still unsatisfied, allow it to detect it as a music player in Windows media Player. And yeah, also add the ability to play streamed music from your computer and use the phone as a remote control over Wi-fi.

After 4 months of analysis, reading review after review after review, I finally got the ‘courage’ last Sunday to walk into a mobile phone store, and buy myself a shiny new Nokia N80. I do not need to explain how good the phone is, people who’ve interacted with me know I have been raving and ranting on and on about it.

I’ve spent my entire spare time this week updating firmare, installing applications, tweaking the phone to suit my needs, clicking photos to see how good the cam really is ( there are tonnes of settings in the camera itself), and I’ve been enjoying every bit of it. So much so, my girlfriend is dead pissed with me, because I’ve been ignoring her when I’m online, because I spend more time brwosing stuff for the phone, than talking to her.

No, I’m not going to review the phone. I know its awesome, and personally I have not faced any firmware issues everyone seemed to be complaining about. One heck of a phone. Will update my experiences soon…

PS:- I just love it when Windows Live Messenger pops up

‘UberTechnophileâ„¢ has signed in on a mobile device.’

Bliss.
