Insensitiveness
Wednesday, November 15th, 2006Anant, he three year old son of the CEO, Adobe India was kidnapped about 3 days ago. The guy requested as less media attention as possible, fearing for the life of his son.
Today morning, in one of the rare occurences, I glanced at CNN-IBN on my TV. A pretty young news anchor was heard saying ‘ To pray for Anant, SMS your prayers to 8765 or something’. There! A disturbing event has yet again been commercialised, inspite of repeated requests.
I’m disgusted. I hate the Media now. Even more. I feel vindicated about my decision to not follow TV News Channels.
God help us.
