There is a blog I frequently visit, among the few blogs I usually do. The girl’s a life blogger and writes very well. Preferred to be anonymous until a while ago, but does not appear the same way. Our only contact has been a few sentences, on blog comments. Nevertheless, she came up with this today, and this definitely is one HECK of an outstanding post. I’m sure people who are abroad can relate to this VERY well.

Whats so AWESOME about it ??? I read it…so ?
I can relate to the 1st paragraph, and the 2nd. But thats about it. In my book, it is an awesome post. The part about the kids in India et al…Well..You know and I know we are never going to ever blog stuff like that. This really is not the forum to dissect someone else’s post, right?
To set the record straight - the written portrayal of ‘The away from home’ feeling was something I never really could do, as much as I wanted to.
SEV, your inputs please.
Ironically, I can relate to everything there. And see the connection she’s trying to make. Its about that feeling of being Indian; we try to find what can best be termed as excuses for being proud of it; but we’re ready to run away from it all oh-so-easily.
Its sad. Its being Indian.
But yes, brilliant post.
