It was an evenful start to the week. Had a ‘reunion’ with old college friends, which could have gone better than what I expected, but then, hey, Expectation is the root cause of all disappointments. Its been Work Work Work on Tuesday, a no holds barred verbal duel with folks back home the same night, work work work on wednesday, and a pretty pointless post (THIS) today, since I’m so goddamn jobless. I just thought I’d enlist some absolutely mundane information to this already pointless post, just due to the lack of something to do.

An idle mind is a devil’s workshop, I know, so when I opened Google reader for the 34th time since today morning, I came across this. SEV and Ashish, rejoice. You’re going to like that one.

Convergence is finally happening for me. My spruced up Nokia 6680 now connects to my Sony Neckphones via the Nokia AD49 audio jack. Bloody GOOD audio output, though I have to recharge my phone every night. Travelling to work from the station, I have people staring at me, like they have never seen a guy wearing neckphones before me. Will have to think about buying a backup battery soon though, since listening to music all day messes up battery life. My Creative Zen Touch has been replaced, and is currently lying in cold storage, until my father decides that the time has finally come to use it. Yes, this means I dont want to carry around a standalone mp3 player anymore, and its handed down to Dad.

I’ve been faced with questions about chatting from work. Right now, that concept does not appeal to me at all. I’m also thinking of going off all Messengers completely from home, signing on only when needed. Not that I do not have the time, but the whole concept of setting an away status on my Home PC, while being at work, seems ridiculous now.

I’m working on a perfect sync solution between my Home and Office PC. Google Calendar seems to be doing the trick for me right now, but you can never trust web based services from work, you never know when they block them. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated, not from SEV though, I know he’ll suggest Google, since he seems to be blossoming in the glory of everything Google right now.(get the pun, dude!)

Alright, I’m bored of writing. I think I’ll reorganize my work desk now.
