Finally, it has happened. My home computer is finally running a licensed, public copy of Windows Vista, after two years of downloading the Longhorn pack, Vista pack et al, to give my desktop ‘that‘ zing.

Installation – 30 mins.
Software Deployment – 30 mins more.

First impression? It looks kickass, and performs well too. Good to see Ms have concentrated on the finer details of everdyay computing too, for a change. I could not sense a major performance difference on my PC, contrary to what people said about Vista before. Let me use it for a few days, and maybe my opinion will change, both about performance, and the User experience.
